Mining Process Solutions Sales Manager (Ref:ETH-MPS)

Genel Nitelikler:

Our client is aglobal supplier of technology and services to customers in the process industries, including mining, construction, pulp and paper, power and oil and gas. 
We are looking for a sales manager who has a mining engineering degree and experienced in mining industry or sales of mining equipment. The person will build and expand market in Saudi Arabia and Gulf area.  The candidate can also be resident at Ankara but there will be frequent travelling to the region.
•         Graduated from Mining Engineering Department of a prominent university
•         At least 8 years of experience in mining industry
•         Fluency in English is must.
•         Arabic language is a strong asset.
•         Having business experience at Saudi Arabia and Gulf Area
•         No restriction for travelling to abroad
•         Capability to manage local sales and service business at the region
•         Client development skill set including building and managing relationship
•         Negotiation skills and understanding of customer needs
•         Knowledge of local development and trends
•         Team building capabilities
•         Intercompany communication skills, Autonomy
İş Tanımı:
Fully responsible for sales related to capital equipment and associated services in the sales office area, for the mining segment  as well as developing Mining  Asset Capital and Mining Process Solutions business through comprehensive understanding of the local business environment.
Strategy and targets
- Operates Business Line’s and Market Area’s business and strategy within the boundaries set by Market Area
- Develops sales / service and aftermarket strategies jointly with Market Area and leads execution of the strategies in the Hub organization
- Brings local perspective to strategy development, target setting, financial and action planning in the hub region
- Actively participates in Market Area level discussions and decision making
Operations / Sales and services
- Leads sales and service organization for Mining Asset Capital in the hub region and ensures cost efficient operations
- Leads the preparation of proposal and negotiations in tight coordination with Products, Services and solution organization with the key customers in Hub region
- Engages the Marketing Area top management or Product Services and Solutions management and resources in the highest level customer negotiations including management of complex commercial discussions as needed
Support functions
- Gathers market intelligence within the Hub area and disseminates it as appropriate
- Prepares the required sales forecasts and communicates changes whenever needed to production and business line.
- Provides customer insights into the product development process
- Support the strategy towards third party distribution in the region, manage and coach third party sales support (agent / or distributor)
- Drives local marketing campaigns
